Over the past 10 or 20 years, I’ve seen about 1000 to 2000 movies. Mainly from when I was a teenager until I went to college. After that, I only watch them occasionally.

The following are some of the movies I watched rather long ago that I liked. But I didn’t watch them the year they were released.

※1 It’s worth it just to see the video of beatrice dalle. beatrice dalle in Night on Earth had a strong presence, but the video of her debut film 37°2 le matin is still valuable.

However, I don’t know if I still think these movies are good now. This is because I have recently seen movies that I used to think were good, and I was disappointed.

I don’t know if this is a change in my own sensibilities, or if it’s simply because the movies themselves were made a long time ago, so they seem old.

The following are some of the movies I’ve seen in the last year or two that I thought were good. The list includes some movies I’ve seen before.

※2 Not the sound effects, but the music selection is nowhere near as good. It would be a great film if the music matched the visuals.

※3 This film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, the same director as Drive. It’s a good movie, but for some reason, it’s not rated well on IMDb and not rated yet on Rotten Tomatoes. why?

Of course, these are some of the movies I remembered.
I watch movies but not many TV dramas. I only watch them when I feel like it. In that way of watching, what I liked recently was

  • Line of Duty

The following are some of the movies I’ve watched recently. After watching this drama, I have trouble finding other dramas interesting for some reason.

I’ve watched six or seven TV dramas since I saw Line of Duty, and I finally found one I wanted to watch.
It was

  • TRUE DETECTIVE (Season 1)

This was a good match for me. However, Season 2 and Season 3 are not as good as Season 1. Season 1 of TRUE DETECTIVE is excellent, especially the script by Nic Pizzolatto. In addition, the acting and presence of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson is outstanding.
The opening image and music are also very good, expressing the image of this drama.
